Hobbled Roman Shade

Custom-sewn with uniform, hobbled folds spaced 8 1/2" apart, this Pleated Roman Shade has extra body and produces a dramatic, cascading effect. When raised, folds form and stack neatly on top of one another. Shade control is positioned behind the shade.

This shade is board mounted and projects 1½" for an inside the frame mount or 2½" for an outside the frame mount. The bottom hem is a double 1½". The lining on a hobble shade is loose and finished neatly 3/8" in from the sides and is sewn across the width of the shade so that stress is fully and evenly distributed. This eliminates sagging and is far more attractive from the outside (back) view. Lift rings are hand sewn on the lining side. Our shade features concealed rod pockets with rear facing battens. Our pleat spacing is 8½" with the top pleat at varying heights depending on the finished length. The shade has a right pull unless otherwise specified. Please e-mail us if you want a left pull. The cord is approximately 2/3 of the shade length. We recommend outside mounts in order to achieve uniform pleating and that you mount the shade 4" above the frame. We supply appropriate mounting hardware for this shade.
